May Happy Planner Designs

May is my favorite month in Illinois. The leaves are back on the trees and the flowering plants have completely emerged from the ground. The color is starting to take shape and it’s warming up…. but it’s not scorching hot like July and August can be. I spend quite a bit of time outside in May getting my yard looking nice and putting my flowers into pots. I actually look for stuff to do outside on nice weekend days. Evenings can always be a challenge when it warms up though, the mosquitoes are ravenous!

So, for the first week in May I went with more flowers, but less bright. I like the combination of the shades of purple and green. Most of the stickers came from the Dream Seeker sticker book.  I used it back in March as well. I have lots of space on this spread for writing, but I have a feeling that things still won’t be getting back to normal yet, in terms of stay at home orders…. which means less stuff to keep track of. None the less, I’ll have lots of room for To-Do items!

For the first full week of May I was drawn to this baby blue color. I really like the way it turned out!  Kind of calming and peaceful. I also like the simplicity of one color mixed with the black floral accents. I’m looking forward to planning out my week on this one! 💙

The bright flowers in the next spread are from the Happy Planner Farmhouse sticker book. It’s one of my favorite books, no doubt. I always loved turning the page and seeing these flowers, but could never figure out how I wanted to incorporate them in a ‘farmhouse’ styled spread. Maybe it was me being too much of a perfectionist, but when I decided to use them and then just decorate the rest with matching colors, I ended up with this bright and colorful spread that is so fun and eye-catching!! If this doesn’t draw attention to your planner, I don’t know what will! 🌺

For the week of May 18th, Everything is just peachy! 🍑 Most of the stickers for this spread came from the Modern Farmhouse sticker book, another of my favorites!!

Purple is just one of those colors that I’m always drawn to. I see it, I end up starring at it. 👀

Now that things are starting losen up in Illinois as far as stay at home orders, I expect that my planner pages will start filling in with more appointments and less project type stuff. I know I speak for many ladies out there when I say I’m really looking forward to my first nail and hair appointments in a long time!
