February 2022 Planner Designs

Hello there!

Now that the brutal cold of Winter is upon us in the Midwest, it’s a good time to stay indoors with a warm blanket, a cup of hot cocoa (or coffee), and our planners. Brrrr ❄️

I’m still not sure why I continue to live in this climate, but moving would be a massive undertaking and would disrupt my immediate and extended family.

Last month I toyed with the idea of swapping out the discs in my new planner with the gold metal discs from my old planner. I went ahead and did that. I think the gold is more neutral and just blends in better no matter what color my spread is.

Soooo, for the first week of February, I used stickers from The Happy Planner, Seasons of Color book. If you like florals and want seasonal variety, this is a really nice book to have.

For the 2nd week of the month I pulled out the Winter Florals book again from Kell of a Plan. I imagine the white of my planner as snow and the wintery green florals and berries up against it….they make such a pretty contrast. Speaking of contrast, I’m still working out the kinks with my photography and the new photo box so there continues to be some inconsistencies in my photos. 😳 It’s a work in progress, right?

I think this next spread is one of the cutest I’ve ever created… I found these Clip Art Gnomes on Esty. In my January post I mentioned that I’m going to be taking Clip Art and making stickers out of it. The Gnomes were designed by Tanya at AtArtDigital. She has several designs to choose from and often has them on sale. I’d highly recommend checking her out. I fell in love with these adorable Nordic Gnomes. So stinkin’ cute and they are appropriate for our temperatures lately.

That’s it for now. Come back again soon to see what I make for the last week of the month.
