December Happy Planner Designs
If you read my last post then you already know that I recently switched from a Vertical to a Horizontal layout planner and in doing so I chose a planner that has less color so that I can be more creative. I also changed up my planning style a bit so that I could have more room to decorate each week.
These are my designs for the month of December…
This one was my first. I never really did much with gold foil stickers in the past because my former planners color scheme just didn’t allow for it – to me anyway. I was so happy with the way this one turned out! The problem with planner pages that come out so pretty is that I don’t want to mess them up with my handwriting!
Next, I was starting get into holiday mode, but not quite there yet. I think all of the stickers from this spread came from the Winter sticker pack, which is one of my favorites! I LOVE the color scheme in it!
For Christmas week, I played around with washi tape for the first time to cover the large black horizontal lines between the days. I really liked the way it added to the color of the page and fit in with the Christmas vibe. You can kind of see that the tape is a reflective foil, which really caught my eye as I used the planner each day. This spread was also from the Winter Happy Planner sticker book.
Lastly, the week of New Years. I was ready to put the holidays behind me and move on to my daughters Sweet 16th Birthday, which happens to be on New Years Eve. I really like the pink and grey together.
In the meantime, I’ve decided to Frankenplan, which if you didn’t know, is combining the pages from other planners into one “catch-all” planner. Currently, I have a Fitness section as well as Social/Business. I’ve made a few changes to it over the last couple weeks and I think I have finally settled on a method that allows me to keep track of everything, but not be overwhelmed. I’ll either write another post on how I put all of that together in the future or maybe do a video. I’m not equipped for video yet, but hopefully soon. 😀
