Mid-March Special Edition Design

Spring is here and despite all the gloom, panic, and crisis going on all over the world right now, the grasses will turn green, the flowers will bloom into beautiful colors, the leaves will cover our trees and wildlife will return. I’m trying to focus on that and the specific things that I can control since so much else is out of my control right now. I’ll also help those that need it in whatever form that is, to the best of my ability. We all need to look out for each other.

Despite my best intentions, I feel like it’s been easy to get distracted lately. The news changes every hour and press releases from all levels of government are happening that advise on the current Corona medical status/spread, the latest social restrictions or the financial crisis. I’ve found that I just have to force myself to focus on my tasks and once I do they become a welcome distraction. If you are also having a hard time with this, I wrote a blog post with some tips that may help you as well.

In the meantime, I completed another planner page for March. Of all the new Happy Planner products that they released a couple weeks ago, the ones that I am most excited about are the Wild Styled and Modern Farmhouse.

The original Farmhouse sticker pack has always been one of my favorites because the stickers were just plain pretty. So when they came out with the new ‘modern’ version I just couldn’t imagine that they would top the original, but I think they did! 🧡 I LOVE these two books!! So much so that I did this weeks fitness planner with them as well, which I’ve put in my March post. It’s kinda elegant, don’t you think? Black with some peachy-blush accents as well as some rose-gold touches. I can’t wait to use it!

And this quote was perfect for how we are all feeling right now.

Anyway, with a little extra time on my hands being stuck in the house, I plan to work ahead on my April spreads and I’ll be sure to post them when I have them done on my April page.

Be well and use this time productively if you can.
