October Happy Planner Designs

I’m a little behind posting this. I was working on another Happy Planner post that I wanted to get out before I posted my designs and why I like to work ahead.  If you want to learn more about the Happy Planner I use and where I find the stickers, then take a look at this post.

When I design my pages, I tend to chose 1 day to add some fun checklist type stickers. They take the monotony out of the typical lists. I usually do this on a Tuesday or Wednesday. The I’ll add some other fun little stickers with it. I try to add fun motivational quotes and decorative stickers as well. I tend to put the larger quotes on the weekend, because I typically have more space on those days in my planner, because I am currently unemployed. Once I start working again my weekends will be the busy looking columns. 🙂 Obviously, you should do what works best for you. You’ll see that my pages usually have some color theme related to the stickers as well. The variety in the sticker packs makes that easy to do.

These are pictures of my October Happy Planner pages for those of you that like having ideas!

I would love to add more fun and color to my pages, but the reality is that I can’t afford to give up much more space. By the end of the week, my planner typically looks like this!!

Another thing I have been experimenting with is changing the ink color for certain categories of tasks that I write in my planner. Anything blog related would be Pink, education is Purple, my workouts are Light Green and everything else is a Teal Blue. It just helps me quickly see visually what areas I have to focus on. To avoid having a bunch of pens on my desk, I found this pen with 4 colors that I LOVE! They also have it in the standard Blue, Black, Red & Green.

So, that’s my planner for October. In the future I’ll snap the pictures before I start writing in it.

Now, what are you waiting for? Go Be Productive!
