August Happy Planner & A5 Designs
Hello and Happy August to you!
For the first Happy Planner spread of the month, I must have still have had Hot Pink on my mind from July. If you read that post, you’d know that my last spread of the month was going to be Hot Pink, but I changed my mind (I do that lot) π. Well, I ended up creating it for this week and I think it turned out great! The florals are from The Happy Planner – Layered Florals book and the Coffee Quote, the Weekly Menu banner, the Mini Coffee Cup, and the Bullet Dots are all stickers that I made this week. As you can see, I decided to stick with the Dashboard layout for another month. Love it!
For my work planner pages, this is what I have for the first full week of the month. Again, If you read my July post you’d know that I recently bought a Filofax Malden A5 in the color Stone. Well, I love the layout of the planner, the feel of the leather and quality of the workmanship…. everything is perfect with it, except the color. Their Stone color is more of a dark beige than gray, which is what I’ve been looking for and thought it would be when I ordered it online. So, these will be the last photos with it since I decided to return it. In the meantime, I’ve ordered a gray planner from a lady on Etsy that makes them custom order. It’ll probably be a month or more before I receive it though. Once I get it I’ll post her info with photos of the planner. I don’t know why finding a quality A5 planner in gray is near impossible. I would have thought that gray would be WAY more common than purple, yellow, or red, but I guess not. Stay tuned!
For the 2nd week of the month I stuck with the floral theme, although this spread has a much lighter, airy feeling. I never really considered myself a floral person, but I do like the color and personality that they add to my spreads each week. The Coffee Quote, the Weekly Menu and the Bullet Dots are my stickers, the rest are from The Happy Planner. πΈπΏ
While I wait for my new A5 binder I bought a clear plastic binder from Amazon so I could keep all my sheets together. I’m not crazy about it being clear, but it was inexpensive and is serving it’s purpose. I have to say though, that if you do want a clear way to store your planner pages, it’s a great option. Quality is good, it lays flat, but is also very flexible. If you have a pretty decorated dashboard cover (I don’t) then it would look wonderful showing thru and is worth considering. Here are a couple photos of it and theΒ link to it if this is something you might be interested in.
You can also see the edges of it in the photos below. While I was shopping I picked up this hole punch that’s pretty nice as well. It’s adjustable for various 6 hole punch planner sizes and I’ve been able to punch multiple sheetsΒ at the same time.
In the meantime, these are my planner sheets for this week. I designed my work A5 pages before I did my weekly Happy Planner layout and because I loved the way Friday’s sheet turned out so much, I decided to use the same floral theme for my Happy Planner this week. Loving the light colors. Anyway, here are my work planner pages…
For the 3rd week of the month I was feeling like doing a purple spread. The Happy Planner sticker in the lower left corner had gray in it so I decided to compliment the purple with the gray as well. This week I also changed up my bullet stickers from dots to 1/4 rounds. I LOVE they way they turned out!! The small coffee cup sticker, the coffee quote, the dot stickers in the errand section and the menu banner are my stickers as well. The rest are from The Happy Planner.
For my work A5 planner with the daily sheets, these are the spreads I came up with this week. I’ve had a couple inquiries about these sheets so I may work on making them available for purchase as well.
For the last full week of the month I pulled out the Happy Planner Dream Seeker sticker book again. Love the wild flower look of the stickers in it. The book also features several copper colored foil stickers that are absolutely gorgeous! No coffee stickers this week though. π€ͺ The boxes and floral stickers are all Happy Planner, while the dots, 1/4 circles and Weekly Menu are mine. I’m looking forward to filling it up with all I need to do this week.
For my daily A5’s this week I went with the Dream Seeker stickers again for Monday and also used my purple 1/4 circles. The rest are pretty typical designs, except for Thursday. I had all these Watermelon stickers in the Happy Planner – food sticker book and didn’t know what to do with them. It got me thinking that I haven’t had ANY watermelon yet this Summer! I’m gonna have to change that!! π
That’s it for this month. I’m still working on getting the sticker store up and running. Hopefully soon! Β I’ve had some inquiries about my daily sheets and my stickers…. it’s exciting see people are interested in buying them.

I love a good planner and I love stickers. I don’t know if its feeling like my life is put together or the creativity of it.

Beautiful! This has inspired me to get a planner! I have been keeping track of my blogger tasks on my laptop because I have not invested in a desk, yet, but when I do, I would like to have a beautiful planner to display on it. Thank you. ππΈ

Yes! For my A5 planner sheets I use Word and there are YouTube videos that can help walk you thru creating a page that will fit your planner… specifically that Word has a page size choice for many planner sizes…ie A5. Just add stickers and Whalaa!!
